Good spend of half an hour. The music is a bit repetitive but the graphics are spot on. I hope the suite of upgrades you're planning for the full game are diverse like the bombs, arrows, and spike ball, not mainly number go up types. It was fun managing risk of going in to bounce a spike ball or set off a bomb or keep multiple targets nearby for the arrows.
I agree with the other folks saying there's a progression stall on level two where you're not strong enough to amass coins for combat upgrades and gems are coming in slow. Maybe a coin-gem exchange would help smooth that out.
Again, you've got a good foundation here. Will be keeping an eye on it.
This was pretty fun i was kinda adicted and the enemys peak the pixel art is sooo good and everything looks so polished i can only say ITS PEAK
We're really glad you enjoyed it :D
We put a lot of effort into making everything look and feel polished
I enjoyed this a lot
not an idle game and needs more upgrades as it gets to hard at the end
shut up its a demo firstly, secendly its an incremental game ts is not cookie clicker and thirdly bullet incremental arent the easiest ( maybe skill issue?)
It's definitely not an idle game. We used the "idle" tag because many players are more familiar with incremental games under that label.
Where did you feel it became difficult? Was it the later elite enemies, or the final boss?
We'd love to hear your thoughts so we can continue improving the game.
last stage was very hard and i could not get past the boss
Did you buy most or all of the upgrades before fighting the final boss?
And during that fight, what made it feel difficult? Did the boss have too much health, were the attacks hard to dodge, or did it attack too quickly?
i had all upgrades and the attacks where a bit to hard to dodge
incremental =/= idle
wow im verry impress with this game. this is soo addictive and satisfsant and fun. also i go to em level boss. its verry impressive. sorry for my verry bad english.
Thanks so much :) and no worries, your english is great.
Did you manage to beat the final boss? How did it feel? too hard, too easy, or just right?
i dont beat the final boss. because my game unfornutately crash. but i play it and the final boss is basicly perfect. he feel right. and i think the game is basicly a 10/10 game. and i think i will also buy it when he will be realease on steam.
We are really glad you rated the game a 10/10 :D
Sorry to hear it crashed. Could you tell us what exactly happened? Do you remember what might have triggered it? For example, did it happen during a boss fight, a menu transition, or something else?
Also, which browser were you using?
This information will really help us track down the issue and fix it :)
Cool game! Enjoyed playing it, and it looks nice. I got kinda stuck for a long time at level 2, and it feels a bit grindy for now. Anyway, played it longer than I intended, so I guess that says something :). Well done!
We are really glad you enjoyed playing Loot Frog :) and thank you so much for your feedback.
We are currently working on adjustments and balancing, and your input is incredibly helpful. During level 2, where did you feel the most stuck? Was it the boss having too much health, or did the upgrades feel too expensive?
We would love to hear your thoughts so we can keep improving the game.
Hey, no problem. You're creating a cool game!
For me, it was mostly: level 1 and 2 consisted of grinding pots until my stamina ran out, with the sole purpose of getting enough stamina/damage upgrades to grind more pots. Repeat this process for a while until I had enough time and damage to kill enemies.
This didn't feel very rewarding. A bit like pointless, slow grinding.
I felt incentivised to ignore enemies altogether, since my primary upgrades (stamina and damage) came from killing pots. The gold the enemies drop was not helping me advance at that stage, so it felt like a waste of time interacting with them.
Also, I only found out later that killing all enemies let you advance to a new level and that moving to a new level would give higher value loot. This was not clear immediately.
Anyway, hope this helps! Keep it up!
